Afrikapp is a platform that connects African freelancers to global clients. To get started, simply create an account on Afrikapp. If your goal is to post jobs to be completed by freelancers, you can go ahead and post your jobs. Once you've posted a job, you'll start receiving proposals from freelancers who are interested in working on your project. You can review the proposals, chat with freelancers, and hire the perfect candidate for your project. We recommend upgrading to a membership plan to access additional benefits and features. If you're a freelancer, you can create an account and start submitting proposals for jobs posted by clients. Upgrading to a membership plan will provide you with additional benefits and features.

To become a freelancer on Afrikapp, create an account and click the "Become a Freelancer" button on the sidebar. Fill out your profile, including your skills, experience, goals, and upload your documents and portfolio. Our team will review your profile and approve it if it meets our standards. Once approved, you can start submitting proposals for jobs and working with clients. If your profile is not properly filled out or does not meet our standards, it may be rejected. We recommend completing your profile and providing as much information as possible to increase your chances of approval. Upgrading to a membership plan will give you access to additional benefits and features.

After registering, you will receive an email from Afrikapp containing a verification code. Enter this code in the provided field on the Afrikapp website to verify your email. If you do not see the email, check your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot find the email or if the verification dialog box closes before you can enter the code, click the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to resend the verification email. If you continue to experience issues, contact our support team for assistance. Please note that you must verify your email to access the main dashboard on Afrikapp.

To upgrade your membership, log in to your Afrikapp account and navigate to the membership plans section under the accounts tab. For clients, you can choose between the Pro and Business plans. As a freelancer, you can choose between the Starter Plan and the Professional Plan. Each plan offers different benefits and features. See the membership plans section for more information. Once you've selected a plan, you can pay for it online or offline. If you choose to pay offline, you will need to provide the reference number of the payment to our finance team for verification. Once verified, your membership will be upgraded, and you can start enjoying the additional benefits and features.

If you are on a free plan as a client, your job post will be reviewed by our team before it is approved. This process typically takes between 24 to 48 hours. Once your job post is approved, you will receive an email notification. If your job post is rejected, you will receive an email explaining the reason for the rejection. You can then edit your job post and resubmit it for approval. If you are on a membership plan, your job post will be approved instantly. Once a job post is approved, it will be visible to freelancers, and you will start receiving proposals.

You can communicate with freelancers through our chat feature. Once you've narrowed down a few freelancers, you can invite them to chat with you. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, clarify details, and discuss the project further. You can review a freelancer's profile, which includes their experience, expertise, and ratings from previous clients. You can also ask for samples of their work, check their portfolio, and read reviews from other clients to get a sense of their skills and professionalism. We recommend chatting with freelancers before hiring them to ensure you're on the same page and comfortable working together.

You will receive an email notification whenever you receive a new message on Afrikapp. The email will include the sender's profile picture (or initial if no picture is available) and the message content. Log in to your Afrikapp account to respond to the message. If the message includes an attachment, the email notification will inform you about it. It will be available in your account (messages tab) to view and download the attachment. We strongly recommend sending all messages and attachments related to a contract through the Afrikapp platform for security and record-keeping purposes. Afrikapp will not be responsible for any loss of data or information sent outside the platform.

To hire a freelancer, review the proposals submitted to your job post. To view the details of each submitted proposal, click the "View Details" button. Once you find a proposal that fits your job requirements, click the "Message Talent" button to send a message to the talent. To hire the candidate, navigate to the messages tab, select the talent you want to hire from the chat, and toggle the "Hire" button at the top of the chatbox to hire the freelancer. Notifications will be sent to both you and the talent about the hiring.

Once you hire a talent, a contract will be automatically created and await the talent's signature. You can continue messaging the talent throughout the contract period. After the contract is signed by the talent, you will be prompted to make a payment towards the first milestone. The funds will be held securely until the milestone is completed. You will have the opportunity to review the work before marking the milestone as complete. If a review is needed, you can mark the milestone as "Needs Review" on the contract dashboard.

After the talent signs the contract, you will receive an email (with the contract attached) prompting you to make a payment towards the first milestone or all milestones. The payment will be held securely until the milestone is marked as complete by the talent and you are satisfied with the work. You can make the payment online or offline. If you choose to pay offline, you will need to provide the reference number of the payment to our finance team for verification. The offline payment reference can be submitted via the contract page. Once verified, the funds will be released to the talent. We strongly recommend paying online for quicker processing.

Once the talent has completed the work for a milestone, they will update it as complete. You will receive an email notification and can then review the work via the contract page. If you need to review the work, you can mark the milestone as "Needs Review" on the contract dashboard. The talent will be notified to make the necessary updates and resubmit the milestone for approval. Once the work is completed to your satisfaction, you can mark the milestone as complete. The funds will be released to the talent once the milestone is marked as complete. Please note that once a milestone is marked as complete, it cannot be undone. We recommend reviewing the work carefully before marking a milestone as complete.

Once the project is completed, you can rate the freelancer on a scale of 1 to 5 stars and leave a written review detailing your experience working with them. Your feedback will help other clients make informed decisions when hiring freelancers. If you're not satisfied with the work, you can request revisions from the freelancer. If the freelancer is unable to meet your expectations, you can dispute the work, and our team will step in to help resolve the issue. We may be able to provide a refund (terms apply) or help you find a new freelancer to complete the project. We take client satisfaction seriously and will do our best to ensure you're happy with the work done on Afrikapp.

If you encounter a freelancer who is violating our terms of service or behaving inappropriately, you can report them to our team. We take reports of misconduct seriously and will investigate the issue promptly. To report a freelancer, navigate to your "My Jobs" page and select the proposal the freelancer submitted. You will see a "Report" button on the chatbox on the proposal detail popup. Click on the button and provide details of the issue. Our team will review the report and take appropriate action. Please note that false reports or misuse of the report feature may result in account suspension or termination.

This is the primary way for both clients and talents to get assistance, regardless of whether you are a premium user or not. Our team is available to assist you with any issues or questions you may have. We strive to provide excellent customer service and will do our best to resolve your issue promptly. To request a withdrawal, log in to your Afrikapp account and navigate to the revenue section under the accounts tab. Select the available payout to withdraw, choose your preferred withdrawal method, and click the submit button to create the withdrawal request. You will receive an email confirmation of your withdrawal request. If you did not initiate the withdrawal, contact our support team immediately for assistance. Please note that withdrawals are processed within 24 to 48 hours, and the funds will be deposited to your preferred withdrawal account once the request is approved.
